Orthoceras are an extinct cephalopods. They lived during the Upper Devonian period around 370 million years ago and lived inside their shell and had tentacles that they used to get their food.  Modern octopus, squid and Nautilus are related to them. Their shell fossilised in this matrix and that has been polished to bring out the detail of the fossilised shell.

Weighs 422gm and measures 16cmx 8cmx 3.5cm.

All orders have a flat postal rate of $8.95 or is free when over $200.00. Shipment is within 2-3 business days from date of order placement and all items will be cleansed with sage prior to packaging.

All the photographs are a true selection of the item you will receive, minus any props used. Their colour may vary and is dependent on the resolution rates of the monitor or screen they are being viewed on.

Please note that with all listings the mineralogy is always the same between the different sizes & shapes, but just like you and I, each piece is individual unto itself, so please make allowances and understand that not all, but a very large proportion of LS Crystals range has been hand selected based on their feel not necessarily on their look, so they may have different grades of polish and or have slight scratching, a chip, uneven surfaces and divots. All these are common and not classed as flaws as it is generally accepted worldwide that they have travelled a great distance and through many hands and processes since they were cultivated from Mother Earth to get to you and were the same when I purchased them.

Please read the products disclaimer section and always check the items measurements so you are well aware of all sizes prior to purchasing.

We trust you will love your precious piece just as much as we do and we thank you for supporting our small Australian business.
