This Palo Santo is from a tree native to Peru. It grows in dry tropical forests and produces very fragrant resin.

The meaning of its name is “holy wood.”  traditionally It is mainly used to treat pain and stress and to clear negative energy.  It has an natural relaxing effect, therapeutic aroma and is a spiritual and aura purifier.

For thousands of years, the wood, resin, and oil have been used for medicinal purposes. There is an increasing concern that this Holy wood is becoming extinct from reckless and over cultivation so much so that there are stringent restrictions and practices for manufactures to follow when cultivating.

These Palo Santo thick smudge sticks  are approx. 10cm x 1.5cm 24gm -30gm.

The Palo Santo is 100% Peruvian this is the statement from the supplier. ( Palo Santo wood is strictly regulated with the same guiding principles. Our manufacturers ensure this holy wood is treated with respect and per required practice only uses naturally fallen trees that have been lying peacefully for between 4-10 years. Every fallen tree that is taken, is replaced with a seedling working towards continuously restoring the Palo Santo population.)

Always use an incense burner or stand to contain the burning item and any ash produced, preferably on an fire-resistant surface. Always ensure it is out of the reach of children and never leave burning incense/Items unattended.

All domestic orders will be shipped by Auspost or is free when over $200.00. International shipping is also available at checkout. Please make sure when selecting the international postage that you chose the correct amount that corresponds to the weight of the item you are purchasing + 100gm to account for the packaging. An extra postage invoice will be forwarded for payment if a lower weight price is chosen. Please contact me for pricing should your country not be displayed. All orders will be shipped within 2-3 business days from date of order placement and all items will be cleansed with sage prior to packaging.
